Kevin Levrone Levro Recovery Signature Series

LevroRecovery is a unique formula that complements the diet with a number of amino acids, including L-glutamine and branched-chain amino acids (BCAA). The product has been additionally enriched with HMB, L-carnitine, niacin and vitamins B6 and B12.

Leucine, isoleucine and valine are three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) belonging to exogenous amino acids, i.e. those that the body itself can not synthesize and must receive them from the outside with food. Research conducted by scientists from the Indiana Universum School of Medicine and the Mie University School of Medicine showed that supplementation before and / or after training with branched chain amino acids (BCAA) had a beneficial effect on post-workout muscle recovery and muscle protein synthesis [1] .

Glutamine is the most widespread amino acid in the human body responsible among others for maintaining a positive nitrogen balance in the muscles, muscle protein synthesis and increasing the body's natural immunity [2,3] .

Recommended for athletes and people who are physically active as a means of supporting the regeneration of the body after training.

NIACYNA
Vitamin B3 (niacin) contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism and helps in maintaining normal psychological functions. Niacin helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system, the state of mucous membranes and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and helps to maintain healthy skin.

VITAMIN B6
Vitamin B6 helps in the proper functioning of the nervous and immune systems, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism. Vitamin B6 helps in the proper synthesis of cysteine, contributes to the maintenance of normal protein and glycogen metabolism and contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.

VITAMIN B12
Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is a vitamin that contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism, helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system, in maintaining the proper metabolism of homocysteine and normal psychological functions. Vitamin B12 helps in the proper production of red blood cells, in the proper functioning of the immune system, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and plays a role in the process of cell division.

BCAA
BCAAs are amino acids with branched side chains, which include L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine.

L-LEUCINE
L-leucine is an exogenous amino acid that the body must receive with food. Naturally, it occurs in meat products, eggs and fish as well as in plant foods. This is one of the most important amino acids for the human body, and especially for the athlete. It is universally applicable in all sports and at all levels. The use of leucine-containing supplements is a post-workout priority. Without the right amount of amino acids, muscle protein synthesis can not take place.

L-isoleucine
L-isoleucine is an exogenous amino acid, a leucine isomer that must be delivered to the body along with food, because the body itself can not synthesize it. It occurs naturally in products containing protein, inter alia in almonds, nuts, meat and meat products, eggs and dairy. It is a universal perinatal amino acid. Isoleucine can be an alternative energy source with insufficient availability of glucose and / or fatty acids, e.g. during intense exercise, and is absolutely essential in the protein synthesis process. Supplementation with isoleucine is aimed at increasing the pool of free amino acids in the body, which is to protect muscles against breakdown for energy needs, and ha as a structural element of proteins, this amino acid can be used for de novo protein synthesis,

L-VALINE
L-valine is an exogenous amino acid that participates in the synthesis of muscle proteins, as well as in the process of energy production. Valine is used by the body for energy needs, especially during periods of severe stress, e.g. during a significant exercise load. Providing an additional amount of amino acid from the outside increases the pool of free valine in the body, which is supposed to protect muscles against breakdown for energy needs and at the same time help to regenerate muscles using the external amino acids supplied.

L-glutamine
L-glutamine is a glutamic acid amide and is essential to the human body as a basic component of proteins. Glutamine also plays a key role in the metabolism of nitrogen and ammonia. Toxic ammonia arising in the transformation of amino acids in various tissues is assimilated by its reaction with glutamic acid, leading to the formation of glutamine. It is a kind of "storage" of ammonia that is "recovered" by converting this amino acid back to glutamic acid. Glutamine participates in the synthesis of purines, pyrimidines and many other amino acids. Due to the fact that glutamine is synthesized in living organisms from glutamic acid, it is not an essential amino acid and does not have to be present in food. It can also be a substrate for glucose formation in the gluconeogenesis process, in the case of insufficient availability of other energy substances and then it is taken along with alanine from muscle tissue. It is indispensable in the process of glutathione formation - an intra-antioxidant. Glutathione - as a natural antioxidant stabilizes cell membrane membranes and inhibits the release of catabolic enzymes, - as an amino acid transporter in the glutamyl gamma cycle - facilitates protein synthesis and promotes the formation of a positive nitrogen balance.

GLUTAMINE ALPHA-KETOGLUTARATE
Molecule formed from the combination of L-glutamine and α-ketoglutaric acid. The combination of these two compounds into one molecule allows to obtain an active substance with higher bioavailability and even higher anti-catabolic activity. It plays an important role in energy processes occurring in muscle tissue cells and also participates in the synthesis of glutamate. This form of glutamine is part of modern supplements supporting recovery processes and is widely used in all types of physical exertion. Recommended during intense strength and endurance training as well as immunodeficiency states. Together with L-glutamine, AKG neutralizes the presence of ammonia - a harmful protein metabolism product that can cause acidification of the body.

L-GLUTAMINE Malate
L-glutamine malate is a molecule formed from the combination of L-glutamine with malic acid. Glutamine is a glutamic acid amide and is essential for the human body as a basic component of proteins. It can also be a substrate for the formation of glucose in the process of gluconeogenesis, in the case of insufficient availability of other energy substances, and then it is taken along with alanine from muscle tissue. It is indispensable in the process of glutathione formation - an intra-antioxidant.
